These are a selection of my choices so far for Alice's foundation year curriculum. I may not need as much as I have selected or I may need more but this should be enough for at least the first 2 terms.
Language Arts Resources.

  • ABC Reading Eggs Level 1 activity books 1-4 and ABC Reading Eggs Starting Out reader packs 1-4. Also using an ABC Reading Eggs online subscription.
  • Gold Stars Starting Phonics activity book, Gold Stars Phonics activity book, Gold Stars Starting to Write activity book.
  • Blake Education Targeting Literacy set with interactive CD ROM and 10 readers.
  • We are reading an assortment of classic literature such as Beatrix Potter, Enid Blyton.

  • Joey Counts to 10 by Sally Morgan story book (also ties in with Aboriginal art appreciation)

  • William Wijity by. A book about the lifecycle of the wijity grub with english translation and Aboriginal language language.
  • Summer, Autum, Winter, Spring by. A book about the Australian seasons with illustrations and short text.
  • 12 book series by Camilla de la Bedoyere about lifecycles of chickens, butterflies, snakes, seahorses, dogs, kangaroos, penguins, sunflowers, sharks, bees, frogs and oak tree.
  • Me on the Map by Joan Sweeney.
