Today the kids and I read Usborne's Look Inside Our World by Emily Bone and Marianna Oklejak. I found it very informative and enjoyable even though some of the flaps were difficult to lift. The book discussed:
1. OUR WORLD (The world from a space point of view)
2. RUNNING RIVERS (Water cycles on earth)
3. FASCINATING FORESTS (Animals and people groups that live near the equator)
4. WATERY WORLD (Oceans and animals/plants that live in oceans)
5. DRY WORLD (Deserts, animals and desert climate. Antarctica and animals in cold climates)
6. WHAT ABOUT US? (How things are made and used, electricity, garbage disposal, transport)
7. EXTRAORDINARY Earth (Map of the world with selected facts about different continents and countries)
Excellent book with great information and engaging illustrations.
